Maya Hawke is the daughter of the actress, writer, producer and model Uma Thurman. Like both her mother and grandmother, Nena von Schlebrügge, Hawke modelled for Vogue at the beginning of her career. Later Maya turned to acting and made her debut in the 2017 BBC adaptation of Little Women. The role that made Maya famous was her portrayal of Robin Buckley in the third season of Netflix's Stranger Things. For this role she won a Saturn Award in 2019 for Best Supporting Actress in Streaming Presentation.
