#1 He is not amazingly tall. The door is small like for a storage closet or something. For reference the masonry blocks to the right are 8" tall apiece. 8 courses high puts the door approximate height at 5'-4". His height would be about 6'-4".

He could be 6’8” if the door is only 5’4”.

There are two mistakes you made, 1) The purple wall is not directly beside the door, it is an unknown distance from the door, you can tell it's a corner; 2) The picture was taken from an a low angle looking up and from this viewpoint you can't actually tell the height of the purple wall to the man. A better estimate could be taken from the size of the garbage bins he's standing beside.

#8 There’s a name for that condition - clubbed thumbs. They are jokingly referred to as toe thumbs. Megan Fox has them.
