I really can't imagine bothering these people while they are just going about normal life.

#9 ..You were a seat filler.. As in, take up empty spots. That is essentially the same thing as not being there at all.

Did you think you were an honored guest or something?

Manda,

Agreed. It's basically your job. He should have gotten up himself.

#1 I can’t believe the Ellen story. I’ve only heard great stories about her from the staff on her show!

They're not the problem, the problem is YOU, you're stupid enough to idolize people.
Let them be and go on with your day as well, they're trying to have it normal, let them.

They are just people. And they don’t owe anyone a hug, or even their time. Why do people think celebrities owe them anything? It’s weird.

Well, a few of these have a bit of a reputation. So not that weird they are on this list.

But let's not forget they are just people. Everybody has problems and can have a bad day. Or after a few hours of signing and pressed for time because they have 5 other appointments be a bit abrupt while not refusing an autograph for example.

Plus, let's not forget that fans can be entitled smegheads too that can blow up a simple encounter where someone was in a hurry or something and blow up the "rude behaviour" story for their social media.

Being famous is a double edged sword. You get the get the gold, but you also run into crazies who think they own you, and the depth of their weirdness can be quite disturbing. As in keep you up all night thinking about it disturbing.

It's fine to have a few favorite actors and artists, but that's where I leave it. Every single time I have bothered to learn more about some celebrity I've admired I discover all kinds of things that make me dislike them intensely. I'd rather just go on admiring them from a distance than knowing them intimately. Celebrity worship is no good, but for many, they seem to live vicariously through these people in some way. Familiarity breeds contempt. Keep the fatheaded wrong thinking celebs far from me. If they aren't acting, singing or dancing, I'm really not interested in the least. I couldn't care less what they think either.

Hilary Duff

“My friend and I were at Saks in NYC in 2006 with our parents. My friend had one celebrity they were obsessed with — Hilary Duff. All of a sudden, we board the elevator and see Hilary. My friend asks for an autograph and/or a hug — just something. Hilary looks at her and goes, ‘Ugh, it’s my day off,’ and walks off the elevator.”
