Nap, I use a plate for toast, and would put CD's in that rack.

#14 Stainless steel, actually. If you don't have one of these but do have a stainless steel sink, rubbing the palms of your wet hands on the sink (with the water drizzling just a bit) will neutralize the smell of fish, garlic, and other odoriferous foods.
