Yeah, Japan is cool, if you overlook millions of Chinese and other civilians they murdered not too long ago. Japanese soldiers used to throw babies in the air and catch them on a bayonet. We owe it to them to remember the brutality.
Just about every country has had at least a group of people and definitely a few individuals that did, and do horrible things, yours and mine included...
You're really stretching it here trying to reference the war between China and Japan as your next round of virtue signaling. A war I bet you can't even name without googling it.
and the chinese communist party murdered 40 million of their own chinese ppl just to stay in power, every country has done horrific things in the past, ccp continues to do so against muslims christians and falu dong
Didn’t see anything about how they slaughter dolphins and whales…. Women only trains because they are sexually assaulted in constant on crowded trains… Also not a lot of diversity there. Disgusting
i was with you until that diversity garbage. now you just sound like a dumb @$$. it's japan! it doesn't have to be diverse because some snowflake said so. FO
There is a huge amount of cultural diversity in Japan.
Different types of food in all 47 prefectures, so much so that when riding trains, you can sometimes tell where you are from the type of bento lunch they are selling at the station.
Different festivals, such as the Neputa Festival in Aomori in northern Japan, contrasted with the Tori-no-Ichi festivals of the Tokyo area and the Hakata Gion Festivals in southern Kyushu.
Different local legends and myths, with statues, relics, memorials to same.
Different dialects. Sometimes so different from standard Japanese that they constitute independent languages.
There is far more cultural diversity in Japan than in the U.S. No comparison.
I think the word unique describes Japan perfectly. It can be quite pretty, but it's also home to some of the strangest trends I've ever heard of. Truly bizarre things. Google bagel heads or dirt restaurants for a laugh. The Japanese are also victim to some of the oddest culturally induced psychological issues that I have read about. Like anywhere else it's got it's warts. It's sad that suicide is still too common.
"This Train Stop In Japan Has No Entries Or Exits, It Has Been Put There Merely So That People Can Stop Off In The Middle Of A Train Journey And Admire The Scenery"

...So we punish their descendants?
You're probably just as bad as they were.

Dolphins & whales? how about whole native American nations slaughtered? You can't pick and choose your prejudices
Not sure your point. Can’t there be issues with both countries?
