#13 I've almost always eaten shrimps this way, but I toast the bread first. Butter it, put on the shrimp that have soaked in lemon juice a couple of minutes. Mayo from a tube on top and enjoy. Delicious!

Victor,

on my 3½ month stay in Norway, it was a thing I learned with pleasure:
Shrimps and lox are cheaper than Salami there.

Never had such a pleasure to save money before.

Jeg elsker Norge!

Eliphalet,

Eliphalet,

uuups

lox = salmon

I've been watching 007 you only live twice some hours ago
and there declares Sean Connery that LOX is both - the British word for smoked salmon and the abbrev for liquid Oxygen..

#16 This kind of building is called stabbur, and was the food storage building on the farms. They are placed on columns to make it hard for big and small animals to get inside. The stairs leading into the building usually have a gap between the stairs and the building.

I love my shrimp like this too. Except I use cumin, corriander, chilli, garlic, ginger and paprika as I like to taste my food.

Randolph,

Taste your food by spicing it heavily? Right.
