I'm only here to get roasted by internet trolls. I'm 40 to engineer with burnout and depression. So it would be challenging to write something that make me feel worst.

Wyncha, I spent my career as a research scientist and went through several cycles of burnout that came and went, but depression is not something that a little vacation time can overcome. You should talk to a mental health professional, who can at least give you some perspective on your options to deal with it. No roasting necessary.

it's okay. middle age is a b*tch. i work at a university and we are churning 100s of engineers out every year to replace you. especially with the Chinese and East Indians as their faculty.

#23 Not true. A road in Notodden, Norway is crossing the runway of Notodden airport. I had to cross it to get to the local campsite. It's a really small airport though, only small planes.
