#21 Exists in Germany also. :)
I lived in the US (AZ) for a year. In many ways I was baffled about the contradictions there. A lot of really miserable social situations (lacking healthcare, guns, wide poor - rich gap, police violence, lacking public transportation etc.) meet very lovely, nice and open minded people.

Orphelia, Ah, so we're only allowed to praise the good old US of A then? Can't take a little bit of critisism? They do say the truth hurts...

Si,

Everyone has healthcare, just not health insurance. If you have no money and need surgery, it will most likely cost you nothing. No one gets turned away.

Jos, Alfie Evans would contend with that, if he could.

Si, Arizona isn’t a great representation of the best of the US. Going from the West Coast to the East Coast is like going through several vastly different countries in terms of culture. Hopefully you got to experience more diverse places than just AZ.

Ivy,

I know, it is not representative and I did not mean to be ignorant or hurt someone with my post. I just wanted to say that dispite there are things going on to which I would refer them as awful, I met a lot of very nice and lovely people. That contradiction simply baffeld me. Greetings from Germany.

#15 How about this crasy thing: Order a serving you actually can eat and only pay for that?
Is'nt that a wild suggestion?

I love how there's so little crime and everyone generally gets along just fine. Also their health service is fantastic and certainly not designed as one huge scam which only benefits big business. College education is also fantastic and affordable for everyone. The homeless and mentally ill are very well looked after as well. Great place all round.

"The number one thing for me is the excellent customer service across the board. The majority of companies really care about their product/service and listen to concerns."
