#18 Take it from an old sailor, and submariner, ladders go vertically from deck to deck. Stairs go on an angle from deck to deck (just like at home). My boat had numerous ladders and one set of stairs, from the upper deck to the crews mess.

#25 I don't know when that applied but it took me a while to get back to normal after I tried a couple of those shortcuts.

I use some of those in windows 10.... used them before too....
but caps, scroll lock and function keys on laptops screw some of them up.
