#2 Not only has Communism failed miserably everywhere it's been tried, but also Socialism, which Marx stated is a stepping stone on the way to the former. Talk to anyone who's lived under socialism/communism, it's always the same horror show of dictatorial deprivation, oppression, hunger, poverty, deplorable medical care, a culture of snitching and spying on everyone, torture, 3 am knocks on the door to disappear anyone who criticizes the regime, etc. It destroyed my Venezuela and the Cuban people are sick and fed up with it too.

Ignatzio, Not a single example you listed is actually communism or socialism. They're dictatorships.

Tammy,They are perfect examples representing every single attempt at socialism or communism present & past, all which have ended up in tyrannical dictatorships bringing misery to everyone except the small group of government elite who control everything.
