#44 Many cities in Germany have one of these, and some schools have painted their own on the schoolyard, traffic education is a compulsory course in most primary school and often even in kindergarten

Isabelle,
Most do. At least in my country. And I'll bet at least as many car drivers break laws like speeding, aggressive behaviour, etc.

Ance,

Teaching children where the dangers of road traffic are has absolutely nothing to do with driving a vehicle yourself.

In America, kids learn to stay out of the streets as toddlers, by parents yelling at them. Drivers and roads are NOT accommodating or safe. Traffic education is learned at home.

#44 more and more cyclists following the rule. And those who are breaking the rule is not happening because the weapon of choice rather the ppl itself.
Ppl in car breaking the low every second.

Stop spreading false hatred that cyclists are not following the rules, they do. If you would open your eye and stop hating everything, then you will notice.

BTW educating the children how to use the road will significantly decrease accidents. That's why these "playgrounds" are amazing.

Wyncha,
cyclists do break rules. they play cars on the streets but when traffic, lights or cars block them...suddenly they ride every where on sidewalks, thru pedestrians, no red lights for them

Wyncha, truly, it’s not a matter of hate. I have observed numerous cyclists riding in a dangerous manner - putting both themselves and others at great risk. Cyclists are notorious for this. A note to cyclists: when you are riding near pedestrian - slow down. It’s not the time to see how fast you can complete your ride - especially when you are “overtaking” traffic.

I love how blind ppl are. Cyclist use the rode even more carefully since the hate is not spread but the knowledge.... You are the one who spread the haterade. I am the one who teaches children how to use the road during cycling through

You think cyclist are the only one who break the rules. OK.

#29 TIL The square watermelons are for the most part not edible just decorative. They keep the edible varieties round. They make the square ones using an unmodified watermelon of old that is mostly white rind and very little red pulp.
