Date closes the menu, stand-up and says: ‘It was nice meeting you. I’m gonna go.’
And she walks out.

#1 Lesson for the young'uns: Pay attention to the first red flag (A request for an expensive place on the first date). Give a warning about rude behavior ("Get off your phone."). Clearly state your intentions ("If you continue, I'm leaving and as of right now, you're paying your half."). Then follow through.

Biddie, some rules are so simple to see that sometimes I don't get why people fall for this ... But also there is so much persons with self esteem problems that could explain why they got in bad experiences or the case that the other part is a b*tch/douchebag ... anyway, sometimes is easy to see the problem, others, more complex ...
