#4 or just use a twist tie. because dont buy plastic bottles.
#9 this is a waste of foil. thats why there are efficient tools with more than one use.

#6 Stop with the *ice-cold*water on live food; it kills cells in the plant. Room temperature or water out of the cold tap will hydrate without killing cells in the plant. I can keep lettuce fresh for a month at a time in the house, and I never use ice-cold water.

Lettuce, cucumbers, and lemons can be freshened up with regular water.

You can freshen up slightly faded lettuce by placing it into a container with ice-cold water. After several minutes, the leaves will become crispy and bright. You can do the same thing with cucumbers or with half a lemon.
