The tone seems to intimate that having fewer safety measures did not have a negative effect on lives. #2 for example. I knew a guy who had an accident while driving a pickup with kids in the back. Bad time.
Denise, Having an accident in the first place is a bad time. I'm not saying drive around with your kids in the back of a truck, but back then you lived by making mistakes and learning to not do it again. Neither my or my friends parents even knew where we were after school. It didn't matter, as long as we were home by dinner. Of course then we went right back out again until the street lights came on. I wouldn't trade that for all the technology in the world. I am SO glad I grew up then and not now.
that is why there are so many snowflakes in new generations. now we stupid parents teach them that everything is bad, everything is dangerous, everything is disrespectful, everything is racist. back them everything was better
