@18 Telling people about doing a thing reduces the chances of you actually finishing that thing because the reward triggers already went off, just do the thing and brag about it afterward for positive feedback.

Flora,

It's actually more like with most tips. It will work well with some people and not at all for others.
The best way is to not stick to one way of trying if it doesn't work.
If you want to achieve something, keep trying new ways until you find something that works even if it seems stupid or irrational.

The most important thing is to never give up.

Jos,

I live in a place that is hot for most of the year and work a job that doesn't have a dress code, so no pants for me... only cargo shorts. So it doesn't matter when or if I put socks on! HA! dirol

#19 is something I also recommend. I have started to use my PC for alarms. the only way to stop the alarm is to go over. turn on the screen and turn off WinAmp. or just switch to my morning playlist.

"I used to do this when my daughter was little, "just in case." When going on a crowded outing with your kid, snap a photo of them on your cell phone camera when you arrive. That way, if something happens and you get separated, you have a photo of them that is recent, in the clothes they're wearing that day. Also, stick one of your business cards in your kid's pockets."
