Making the decision within one day
“It seemed like an ordinary day, but in the morning, I decided that it was time to change my life. I quit my job, sold my apartment to a real estate agency for cheap, bought new slippers, a bag, and a ticket to Thailand. Now I’m sitting and waiting for my flight. My prestigious work and stability are behind me, and ahead, only the unknown. But I’m truly happy for the first time in 26 years.”
Best comment ever. Should be part of the compilation
Unless he somehow got 3k € for those before tax, then it is not worth quitting over.
I mean, I work as a teacher - that is is 7hour workdays, over 9 or so months. I get paid for all 12 months of the year, provided I promise to Not do paid-work elsewhere during my vacation.
I get nearly 2 months off work during summer to travel or enjoy myself every year, a few weeks here and there during the year and about 2-3 weeks off during new years.
