Your mom - you have to wait ages until it is your turn. First entrance is out of order, you have use the second entrance. I would only recommend to people who like the show "600lb life".

Dickson, "Elaine" is apparently attempting to make a lame "you're mom is a ho-bag" joke.

Susie,

Absolutely true regarding #10. The canyon views are amazing enough, no need to go out on the glass sky deck. The no camera policy is needlessly obnoxious in my opinion.

#3 true. I visited that place and didn't have courage to spent time and money to visit that tight balcony. I just grabed Julieta tits for luck. yes, there is a statue of Juliet and they say that if you hold her boobs, it brings luck.

#14 LOL. It is so small that you think you are in the wrong place when you arrive there. You think: this is so small... where is the real one? Grand Place is a Beautifull place, I like to seat in one of those restaurants to drink a nice Belgium beer and enjoy the place, yes, it is kind a tourist trap, but the place is beautifull.

Jessie,

I'm Belgian.

The place indeed is beautiful. The town hall is fantastic (I've been on the balcony with the marriage of my daughter, people took pictures thinking I was 'important', what a deception :-). Anyway, if you're here, don't go to eat in the Rue Des Bouchers (It's really a tourist trap). Also visit Leuven (Even nicer town hall) which was the capital of the Duchy of Brabant (Brussels was just part of it) so you can imagine. Also go to Ghent. You can go to Bruges but it' looks a bit like 'it looks good but we wrap it up at six.' Ghent is the better alternative. Just some suggestions from a guy from Leuven (20 km out of Brussels).

Manneken Pis in Brussels is cool! Every day they dress him up in a different outfit.
Check out the Jannekin Pis too, his sister statue, located in the hallway outside the Delirium Cafe.

They don't dress him up everyday, only on special occasions. He has some hundred of dresses though. He's about 50 cm high (just for the record)...

Add Stonehenge to that list. It's right next to a busy road, you have to walk on steel industrial plates around it and see it from a distance.
Best is to avoid practically every famous thing from a country you know and find some lesser known but easily as amazing things.
There are some real gems in this world not overcrowded by tourists. You just have to do some research and explore.

“The glass bridge over the Grand Canyon is a total rip-off tourist trap. It takes HOURS to get there from Vegas. They charge you $20 to park in an empty desert. They charge you $30 per person to take the bus from the parking to the attraction (it’s like walking from parking into a mall — no distance at all). Then they charge you $30 per person if you actually want to walk on the bridge. You cannot take pictures or bring a camera onto the bridge, but they will sell them to you, of course.”
