It can't wotk in any way whatsoever...There is no ramp to get up, and if there is someone on the platform pushing the button, the open door would block them.

How do you know that exactly? And I never saw a wheelchair ramp that wasn't in front of the door. Completely illogical if that was true... which it isn't.
I really don't understand why you so desperately want to think of a reason why I'm wrong but ok.
That little defect is something you'll have to work out for yourself I suppose...
