#10 sorry that the photo is blurry and "exaggerated". I live nearby, and there are no photos that can really or totally describe this place. You can have thousands of views in only a few steps... heart

Hy, Not a castle either, it's a Folly. Built by a land owner to create work for the community during harder times

It’d be interesting to know why some of these were abandoned. All of them must have cost a fortune to build. At one time the owners must have been very excited to see them being built - so much very ornate, custom design now forgotten. No kids playing, no church attendees, etc. kinda sad
