"Don't swim in Florida waterways at night, dusk, or dawn, because teeth. But if you should find yourself in the mouth of a hungry gator, don't go for the standard eye poke, go for the nostril poke. Jamming your finger in their nostril breaks the seal they use to keep water out of their airways when submerged and they will release you instantly."
#3 Don't use a bat for self protection, especially if there is a chance someone might grab it from you. Further, unless you've got a big house, there'll be no room to swing.
in most states you don't have the right to attack your attacker. you must find a way to retreat if it's available or the criminal could sue you.
Not sure about the US and different state laws but in The Netherlands there is no stand your ground rule. Even if the burgler is treating you and you hurt him in defence while you had a way to flee you could get sued. It makes absolutely no sense. One of the exceptions where US law is better :p.
I guess Midge never heard of stand your ground or the castle doctrine. Good thing people don't come here for legal advice.
This method works only one's hit
People who pull out into the intersection while waiting for a gap in oncoming traffic. Their eagerness to take advantage of that has them turning their wheels in anticipation.

Who is this "they"? Nearly everyone I know has got their driver license by having a parent or sibling teach them techniques and laws from a small booklet. There is no "teach" unless they are forced to by a court (for bad driving) or to to get a CDL (Although classes are not required either just another booklet, and practice before driving test). Solo who is "they"?
