Born in 1980. 80's kid 90's teen. Every generation has their sweet spot. For me a mix of no parental supervision and a childhood free of the internet followed by teenage years during the birth of AOL and the internet was perfect. I have a great perspective of how to raise my children to use but not be reliant on tech.

Wouldn't change it for the world.

Frieda,
Amen to that! If you don’t hear the raspy dialup noise and get excited at the connection that might, or might not happen, you’ve missed out on some of the best experiences life has to offer…. Oh and ‘Mega bass’ on your Walkman :)

#6 I grew up in Communist Hungary in the 80's. One of my friend's father had a stereo system similar to this - I don't remember the brand. I have no idea how he managed to get his hands on it. Anyhoop it was like the most holy of shrine to us kids. We knew that we were only allowed to observe it from afar; never get too close; absolutely never touch it.

Arilla,

Being little [email protected]#ks who broke everything you can put your hands on has nothing to do with the country or political system.
