I was in Paris a lot because of my work. It was noisy, incredibly dirty and people were arrogant and unfriendly. I think this city is way overrated. Once you leave the tourist areas you realize how messed up especially the Banlieues (Outskirts) are. I allways felt uncomfy there.

I used to live in Paris for 12 years. The worst place to be. Dangerous and stressful. And americans are not welcome. Just their money are wanted.

Paris is beautiful! But the fact that France had history problems with England, English language is not well acceptable there ... Even you are humble and gentile to ask a simple question, they just don't like it. I had a chance to visit Paris a few times... Some were great other not so much

lol every language other than french is hated by french folks these ppl are the most arrogant and least helpful worldwide,they expect you to speak perfect accent free french doesnt matter if u speak spanish german or thai the french will look at you with disgust and treat u badly once they learn you cannot speak french
