My neighbor's kids are in High School.
They have never heard of:
Daniel Boone, Davey Crockett, The Alamo or the Bill of Rights.
They have no idea what the Civil War was, nor when, nor who fought in it.
They also believe that the U.S. should abolish it's borders and let the world in.
They are also 100% versed in Gay and Transgender Rights.

Arabella,

Sounds to me like your neighbors totally suck as parents. It is up to parents to give their children foundational knowledge, and to take them places that expose them to history, arts, the world, etc. The schools are there to help your children, not to replace parents. Provide them with books, take them to museums and historical sites, talk with them about educational subjects. Take them places so they get to meet and talk with people with different backgrounds and experiences. Instill a love of learning in your children.

Experience, Sounds like you are not a parent, or maybe a parent that doesn't have a job. Schools absolutely are there to impart such knowledge, to believe otherwise is ignorant - that is literally the entire idea behind the education system and it is why they are there 7 hours a day for 9 months of the year.

Arabella,

Sounds like a story a trumpist would made up.
What else are your neighbors kids doing, proposing communism and hating America?

Arabella,

Complete bullsh#t. Once again. The ones screaming fake news are the ones that spread it the most.
No school teaches America should abolish it's borders. And "letting the world in"? Just about ALL of American culture is a melting pot of people and cultures from around the world...
Any American school teaches American history and no school gives classes in gay and transgender legal rights.
Or did you mean they believe LGTBQ and transgenders have rights?
OH! THE HORROR! Believing someone has the right to exist!
Wait... Isn't equality for all people not one of the cornerstones of America?
Seems they learned something you didn't...

In China, they don’t teach kids about the Tiananmen Square protests/massacre. It never happened.

Jos,

They also teach that Tibet was peacefully liberated from an oppressive government. Don't trust China for anything.

#24 The farewell took place at the Philadelphia Convention. They signed the newly written Constitution and Washington bid farewell to his officers as he was to begin his presidency. Philadelphia restaurants and hotels gouged prices during this time as well forcing many to go home early without signing.
