"I'm European and I was shocked by the sheer size of everything in Canada. I always knew North America had different dimensions, but it was wild to see it for myself. Everything from the cars, the roads, the portion sizes, even the sizes of refrigerators were huge. When I got back home, the roads in Europe felt more like bike lanes by comparison."
Well, to each their own obviously. But personally for me there have been no greater experiences or I never learned as much as while travelling. Especially in non western countries. You experience more while being in a culture unlike your own.
This is one of the most American comments ever....Europe is fine, except for all the foreigners.
um okay. Europe is a clusterfuck of countries where you cross a border and they speak a different language and sometimes rape women or boys. no judgment though
In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, there were literally over 100 scooters at busy intersections (not an exaggeration).
Thank you for your comment brave, brave Jan.
