He was taking a picture of a mess from a spill of oil or something behind the fryer and then the phone slipped out of his hand into the oil. It missed the baskets and he had to use some tongs to retrieve it.

Dunno where it was recorded, but they have the same thing in the amusement park Grona Lund in Stockholm, Sweden.
It's quite easy if you got the coordination right. You shift balance from one foot to other in sync with the movement of the escalator.
