Arthur, the world goes forward. Some professions are no longer needed, and there is no reason to cry over it; new profession will arise. There are plenty of examples of that. Bowling pin setter, ice cutters, switch board operators, milk men to name a few you have most likeny never had to deal with.
One autonomous bus does not cost anyone their job. It is a sign of what is coming, but there will be people driving buses manually like today for decades still.
