The App Facebook will still be called Facebook, names unchanged. The parent-company of the App changes the Name to Meta. So it is Facebook by Meta then.

Yes it did.
If people had any interest in the internet beyond looking at "le funny memes XDDD", they wouldn't touch google with a ten-foot pole.
Alphabet/Google is evil as fugg... And most likely the inspiration for the dystopian digital hell FB is trying to create.
