lol most of these hacks cost more than a product. why buy that much copper tubing for a simple a/c unit?

Few feet of soft copper pipe isn't that expensive, especially if you paid for a larger pack of it already and it will just sit for years otherwise. I wonder more about how efficient such a set up is, because there does not seem to be nearly enough surface area on those tubes, a proper radiator from something would do the trick otherwise - but then you are just building an AC unit from old junk, with the added hustle of having to bring your own ice.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's only humane if you check it every few minutes. Otherwise if it's a bucket of dead rats possibly with one angry cannibalistic survivor...
