Hello 2 year s ago
I'm old and have been out of the workforce for many years.

I see what is happening now with well paid executives and their workers and hope that the workers rise up against the way they are paid and treated.

America has gone to hell in more ways than can be counted.

From Germany, here people are "honest" so you just get noting for christmas.
Oh wait there is a so called "christmas bonus", which in fact ist paid as a 1/12 fraction every month per year (this keeps drecreasing every year).

Yes and no, if you work for real big companies (BMW, VW; Siemens, you will get a Bonus, extra sallery, etc) Some companies provide Christmas Parties or small gifts, but lots of also do not care. If you are a crafts man and work for small companies, the bosses will appreciate your work most and gift you well or throw intense christmas parties. But this posts seems just to sum up the worst examples and create the feeling USA s#cks again. I dont belive that.!

This is the problem with the Internet: you can take the worst examples from a massive country and present them all together to give a depressing outlook. How about a post from those employees who have fabulous bosses who really look after them to balance it?

Brandy, that's the point! Why show only the worst versions? Because it always sells better! But there is something that is not showing in those pictures: Some employees think they deserve a bonus just because they work for a big company and they are wrong ... It will always depend what is their position and if there is something in their contract that is telling that, otherwise, stop complaining!

Brandy,

Yep. My wife’s company just gave everyone under the Director level a $10,000 bonus.

This is the employee's fault. Get a new job if this matters. If you stay, you are encouraging more of this.

Most of these are fake of course - maybe 2 or 3 are real. Initially they start out as the employee trying to be funny but as it makes it rounds on the internet people lose sight of the fact that it was intended as a joke and they believe it's for real.

#24 Maybe related to this thread... Recently someone may have been upset (or maybe just forgot it?) about a $15 off coupon/credit for a turkey at a local grocery store. It said "Thank you for your hard work." They left it in the frozen turkey section.

Turkeys were "on sale"; I got a 19 pound turkey for $5.00.

No sense letting that go to waste; I appreciated their hard work.

Your bonus is to get the 25th off as the store is closed that day. You still have to work the 24th and 26th and you will like it.
