#1 the 'chaos' of parenting comes from your lack of control and discipline from trying to be their 'friend' and not their parent. my mother had 4 kids, my grandmother 8, and you modern day Karens can't control 1? and before you leap to the comments to say such old fashioned ways were too harsh, don't bother. I wasn't mistreated or abused. My mother just taught us how to have manners, restraint and self control and through that, self respect. Deep down you KNOW the majority of parents of today are spineless, and that's why they keep moving the goalposts for their derps.

They have been doing it for the past 8 years and it all started when they just couldn’t get a perfect shot with their little children

Now the family has expanded and younger brother Elijah and little sister Evelyn have joined the traditional Christmas card. Every year, the photos are more intricate as the family expands and the children are growing up.

This year we also talked to Jonathan and asked what was the inspiration behind the composition. He told us that usually he gets an idea for a photo just observing what fascinates his kids. This year the children have been watching The Grinch and Polar Express so the dad “tried to imagine how they might try to re-enact that in real life (with a little inspiration from ‘Up’)…and that’s what led to the idea.”
