#12 Just make sure you're triple-vaxxed and double masked before celebrating New Years down under, or you're going to jail. 35

Call me jaded but I doubt the authenticity of that picture. Too many people using their kids to score internet points. I hope I’m wrong.

Ossy,
At one point, cars on normal fuel couldn't make that trip either... That's the thing with new technology, numbnuts. It gets better and more efficient over time...

Deborah,

Electric cars have been around since the 19th century. How much longer do we have to wait for the "better and more efficient" ones?

Ossy,
It's not just time you also need incentive. If you have a seemingly unending supply of oil, and can make billions off of it, why invest in new technology?

Ossy,
If you're really worried about there being no charging stations ahead, you can always carry a generator and fuel in your trunk.

#10 For me I don't mind that she has paranoia and wants to protect herself. The important thing is she doesn't go full Karen on other people for not being compliant with her paranoia.

Lucille, the only people “going full Karen” are the idiots refusing to simply put on a mask where one is required.

Shirley, may be required but still worthless. Kind of like thinking a chain link fence will keep out mosquitoes.

Paulina,

The virus itself is small enough to pass thru some masks, however... when the virus comes flying out of some plague rats mouth it is embedded in much larger droplets of saliva/mucus that the mask definitely does catch. It is your understanding of basic science that is "worthless".

Mitch,
Can we all agree that none of us know what works and doesn't? An ounce of simple prevention here might be worth it. If you enter a place where masks are required put the thing on. If you're walking around the park with no close contact don't. What happened to nuance?

Paulina,

Thats not true .... I have worn a mask for years as I restored furniture, they stopped me from dying by allowing me to breathe while not inhaling microscopic bits of lacquer, paint and wood. Keeping germs out of my mouth is what masks are good at, no matter your thoughts on covid. Stop being silly.

Paulina,

Yup... Exactly the same... but not really... Maybe you should look up why a mask is effective... Oh wait... You probably did but immediately started screaming they don't what they are talking about despite them being the experts and you working as a bricklayer or garbage man...
