I'm not sad that Grandpa passed away. I'm happy he lived and shared so much.

#47 the saddest part of the NICU is that you have to do that. When I was helping my friends baby by taking shifts, I discovered we were the only parents out of over 80 babies in that one unit that never left. Some had a parent who would stop in for an hour or so daily, but most were visited once a week or not at all until released. HOW? How could parents do that?
