#17 Recognize that from decades ago. The other part is a tube with a rubber band loop visible inside at the bottom. You challenge your mark to hook the band in the tube with this, but it is impossible. You demonstrate first but cause the hook to snap back by pinching the tapered top so it looks like band pulled it.

Lavonia,

It's a toy missile. I had a million of these in the 80s when I was all about Transformers. The color also makes me think it's part of a toy. You would insert it into a launcher, a spring would get stretched out as you as you loaded the missile, and once it's fully inserted that hook on the end would catch onto something securing it in place. You would press a button somewhere on the toy releasing the catch, and the tension in the spring would send it flying.

Luella, unless you provide the actual answers your opinion weighs about as much as a fart in space. Less, actually.

"What is (the intended use of) this oddly shaped silver spoon?"

A: "Caddy Spoon. A caddy spoon is a short handled spoon used for measuring the dried tea from the tea caddy, where it was stored, to the teapot, and most commonly in use from the late 1700’s to the mid Victorian period, although examples continue turning up dated into the early 1900s."
