"Everything being f@#king huge. Literally. Road lanes, groceries, soda sizes. Especially distances: where i come from, 3 hours of driving are enough to cross half of the country, in the US it’s just a small drive to go to see a relative or something."

#10 i don't find this strange, in uk (work) and france (schoole) for me was 8am start so both were about 6am wake up

So many people talk about the portion size but not about the cost. So does that mean in their country they're paying the same price for a lot less food?! But I've been to Germany where there are many restaurants that serve frisbee sized schnitzel, beers in glasses the size of small barrels, etc.
