Not a worm - far from it, although the latin name indicates the proper animal (salps). It's a colony of small tunicates, which are actually much closer related to humans than actual worms.

They got the name wrong, its not Pyrasoma Atlanticum. Pyrasoma is a lot smaller. I'm not sure its been properly classified yet
