Ike, yup, that one worked for me for years until my wife overheard the kids talking about why the ice cream truck would stop to play the song when they were out of ice cream.
Yeaaah... don't lie to kids, if you try to be as truthful as possible they might just respect you for it by the time they are old enough to use google to check your bullsh#t.
These are all clever and funny. Probably not right to mislead your kids but sometimes......a parent's gotta do what a parent's gotta do. It's called survival.
Kids is one thing, But.... the one post from someone in their 40's.... could have a grand child to tell the lie they just dicovered was a lie from their parent :D
