You guys are kinda missing the point… actually way off. Its not about being cool or only for the top starte corruptors.. your thinking is still not really suitable for earthly consumption…

well, my car turns 30 in 3 years .
In Germany you keep your number, but you get an other number plate, ending on H (like historical) behind the former number.
We have the TÜV every 2 years, so there can't be many changes and you pay much less taxes on that car.
