"Last night, while waiting to board our plane, my daughter was being her usual inquisitive self wanting to meet and say “hi” to everyone she could, until she walked up on this man. He reached out and asked if she wanted to sit with him. He pulled out his tablet and showed her how to draw with it, they watched cartoons together, and she offered him snacks. This wasn’t a short little exchange, this was 45 minutes. Watching them in that moment, I couldn’t help but think, different genders, different races, different generations, and the best of friends. This is the world I want for her."
First of all, maybe learn to combine the right number with the right picture. Even a child can do that.
Secondly, it's the smegging thought that counts here you cantankerous idiot.
The fact that they dropped everything to help someone who's world had been shattered.
I absolutely do not believe in a god.
But I'm absolutely sure these people did and do a lot more good than someone that reacts like you.
I hope you get to meet one of the nice people described in this post. You seem to be in need of something good in your life.
That isn't the point of prayer. Those strangers stopped everything and shared the moment with her and felt her pain. There's comfort in love and kindness.
