That is not extra pepperoni - they put that much on a regular order. Oh, and yes the cheese should go on last to help keep the toppings in place.

Person being photographed had to be still the entire time.

#1 please don't argue on taste. If pepperoni goes top it will be smokie and crispy (or if the baker is a noob it can even be dry and burned which is not good). If the cheese goes top, the pepperoni will be juicy and flavourful. Both are optional choice depending what your taste is.
Also there are more raw type pepperonis which can take more heat and stay juice after landing on the top of a pizza.
This though looks good :)
