Learning to play a board game really well doesn't make you a genius.

Parthenia,

You'd love my bumper sticker, then. It says, "I brake for tailgaters". And I do. In my state, any car that rear-ends another car is automatically at fault, no exceptions. Please tailgate me sometime.

#17 what does chess have to do with being a genius? it is a game with a very defined ruleset. should have taught them physics, math or chemistry.

Chester,

Nice thinking!

In Europe the painting in parking lots are only for guidance. The rule of the road does not care about parking lots. :)

#17 the story is a bit different. And has more depth.
Being nr1 is an achievement. Except if you are an a55h0le one the internet and trolling because that is just sad.

The main story has 4 key elements: chess was not registered in family history as anyone was good at it. The first girl was though. The second was not. And the 3rd was not allowed until an age.
Chess requires huge memory and fast thinking and lot more than is required to write an ignorant comment anonymously...
