Own your property instead of renting, obviously not for random few day stay but longer periods it is cheaper to just buy the house/flat and then sell it after few years.

If property is so out of your price range that you will need to save for decades to even think about affording it then consider living in less populated places where property is considerably cheaper.

There is work everywhere, if one looks broadly enough. Some highly qualified work can be done remotely, especially after 'Rona.
