Say you! Do a little math and you can easily convert a 24-hour, 60 minutes per hour day into 10-hour, 100 minutes per hour day. Just think of all the new clocks and watches you could sell.

Metric time was a thing after the French revolution but it failed as it's a stupid idea.
A better system for a standardised time is "Swatch time", not to replace the 24 hour day but to agree a time to meet online etc in different time zones
