That seems very specific, were there that many people trying to use Elephants for farm labor in North Carolina?

Connie,

Silly laws like that usually are the result of a specific incident that went to court wherein a ruling was made to outlaw the practice in order to prevent said incident from occurring again.

Mathew, like peeing in the ocean in Portugal, or wearing a suit of armor in U.K. House of Parliament, or flying a UFO over Châteauneuf-du-Pape, France ... Euros; it sums it all nicely.

#1 He likely saw the Wright Brothers fly and likely met them personally. (Even I knew a pilot whose license was signed by one of the brothers.) But he was not one of the 5 witnesses to the first day of flights.

#10 Ferrucio loved sports cars, and owned a Ferrari...when he met him, he told Enzo that he should make his cars more reliable. So Enzo told him to mind his business and stick to making tractors (which was the business). So Ferrucio decided FU Enzo, and within a few years started making sports cars as well...Lambo tractors are still top of the line btw...

"Eugene Aldrin, the father of the famous moon landing astronaut Buzz Aldrin, not only witnessed the Wright brothers’ first flight but also went to see his son land on the moon in his lifespan.

We’ve been quick!"
