There are people out there collecting nail clippings. Or ear wax and polish furniture with it.

I've done this too.
it's a memory to my 3 cats, that have died long time ago.
They were better friends than a lot of humans, that crossed my path.
It doesn't hurt them to loose one and rural has it, that they make you lucky.

its a plastic pipe so its not rust
its the minerals in the water, mostly chalc (limescale)
