It is the same like "Pizza with Pineapple", someone started to speak bad about that and it went viral in the web and most people just repeating the bullsh#t blabla.

so chill, cool movie, maybe you do not have to take it too seriously. And still better love story than twilight dance3

The film is, obviously, not historically accurate but they did draw from history. Like Imhotep being a real person, but not a high priest. He was the architect of the first pyramid.
