We did something like this at a place I worked in the IT department. One of our co-workers went on a week vacation right after assigning us all tasks for a physical inventory check of the company. Over the course if the week he was out we turned his cube into a Tiki bar complete with about 10 pounds of sand (on a tarp so the facilities manager didn't kill us). When he came back in it was glorious...
