#9 They're called koalas, not koala bears.
Koalas are marsupials. They're more closely related to opossums than bears.

#17 Roald Dahl included all those things because he secretly hated children. (I can relate)

Moses, You sir, are full of shit. Dahl loved children. He wrote about the school/headmistress and the fake child support group, the lazy parent and the horrible neighbor all that hated children. He had many pro-child characters including Miss Honey, Grandmama, and the peach dwelling animals. Even Willy Wonka just disliked disobedient kids. Source: Me. I've been teaching 4th grade for 30 years and have been using Dahl's work the entire time.

Susannah,

As a fellow teacher, I'm surprised that you cannot tell that Moses was making a joke. If you were my student, I would suggest that it is okay to disagree with someone without insulting them.

Obed,So many Europeans take speaking more than one language, yet they lose their minds when confronted with more than one system of measure. Grow up.

#10 Total nonsense written by some chowder head who can not comprehend either the size of the US or how air quality is measured.

#8 Specifically, that's true. But the broader truth is that the eyes imperceptibly dilate when processing certain types of complex information, and nobody knows why. And orgasms, too. Don't forget the orgasms.
