That both ingenious and kinda dumb at the same time. There's usually some pretty toxic paint on those trailer gates so unless they cleaned it all off those steaks are gonna taste funny...

It looks like it is free of paint, but 15-20 minutes over that fire will remove everything but the metal; then just rub some olive oil on it, it will be fine.
