For companies to pay their employees a living wage and not overpay their CEOs.
For rich people to no longer be able to get away from paying taxes by funnelling the money into offshore accounts.
Have people like Jeff Bezos not make 8 MILLION $ an hour.
I live in Paraguay and make 1.6$ minimum wage job. we recently had a wage rise by 5% resulting in a price increase of almost everything by 10%.

I don't think socialism is the answer, nor over taxing the rich, but shouldn't we be able to force the rich to fairly pay taxes? Eliminate the loopholes that allow corporations and the ultra rich to avoid the taxes everyone else pays. Or even better a flat tax rate.

All of these are utterly ignorant but #18 really illustrates the logic problem. He’s 27 and $120k in debt and asks “how can this be legal?” Wow. Mom and dad failed this guy - they obviously didn’t teach him anything about research, finances, and planning. We can safely assume he got a 4 year degree so he was paying $30k a year to go to school. This means he was going to some sort of school that was charging at least 3 - 4x what a good public university charges. 3 - 4x! My son is in university so I know precisely what it costs. And had he started at a Community college for his first two years it’d be even less! Had he gone to a trade school it’d even be less! I mean c’mon, this guy has remorse that he was stupid enough to not give a moments thought about getting himself in to debt getting an education at a prestigious university which gained him absolutely nothing. What a clown.

Capitalism... economic Darwinism. It's great for those who survive but horrible for those who don't. It can reward you or crush you. It is anything but fair. And just like other systems, it has serious flaws but tremendous benefits.

It is funny, reading the coments, to see how Americans (at least the one commenting here) consider that:
1. socialism = comunism
2. the only alternative to Capitalism is comunism (aka socialism, see 1.)
The system is profondly screwed. Don't beleive you are better than the one failing, or part of the top of the society, you might barely be just less poor than your neighbourg and over in debt.
Instead of taking a look at the problem (like a system allowing people to get shamelesly, uselesly rich by exploiting others), you prefer keep convincing yourself that if you are in your situation, it is thanks to your merit and effort and that all others non successful were lazy/dumb and so on. Stop dreaming, you'll just keep fighting for some crumbs like us all till you die, and nothing of you will left in 2 generation. Or you could stop and consider other options but leaving billions of people suffering during your lifetime for allowing a few to buy multiple superyachts?

Evaline, it’s not like there an “x” numbers of dollars (or whatever currency you use). If we were using gold as the basis of our transactions then yes, it would be wrong for the rich to hoard what is a limited resource. But that’s not how it works in the modern world. Elon Musk having billions does not affect you whatsoever. The rich do not cause others to be poor. Governments spending trillions is what causes people to be poor.

You know, I get it. I really do. But socialist thinking doesn't know where and when to stop...or want to...and it just becomes the new system that elects new elites. Bernie is a millionaire with 3 mansions or better, and AOC is wearing $6000-$7000 outfits while visiting the border for a PC stunt. So save the rhetoric.
