considering what they charge for first class this is peanuts to the airlines. i remember like 20 years ago I went on a trip with my parents and our first flight was so late the second flight left and the airline had to put us and a bunch of other people up for a night in a hotel til the next day and one of the people stuck was the first call and damn he was pissed. I think he said the flight was 12K just him in comparison outs where just under 1K.
